I work from my home studio on the beautiful Illawarra coast. If Im not distracted by Molly the rescue pup or gardening - Ill be working away in my various studios.
I am obsessed with the contrasts between paper and porcelain. The hard, permanent, tempermental but beautiful nature of porcelain and the ethereal, light, immediacy of mark-making on Kozo paper.
In addition to exhibiting new work reguarly, I ocassionally curate exhibitions of Australian contemporary art, on themes and ideas I am working with in my own studio. The collaborative nature of these projects both enriches and deepens my research and understanding.
I am preparing for my post-graduate exhibition at National Art School where I studied both ceramics and drawing during my MFA.
8 – 17 November 2024, 11am – 5pm inclusive of Sundays NAS Galleries, Building 25 Project Space, and artist studios.
